Armscor International
The Challenge - Armscor Precision International has been around for over 100 years. Recently, the Filipino company began to cater to United States markets after it opened a headquarters in Nevada. As a result, Armscor needed to refine it’s brand to have a stronger appeal among American consumers.
To add to this, consumers were confused about which products Armscor actually made and which ones were made by a subsidiary company of Armscor’s, called Rock Island Armory.
The Solution - Epic stepped in and helped re-define what this company stood for, while also keeping key elements surrounding the brand intact. We recommended that Armscor consolidate all it’s ammunition products under the Armscor brand and all of it’s firearms products under the Rock Island Armory brand.
To help consumers visualize the new Armscor and Rock Island Armory brands; we re-envisioned their current logos, shot high quality video footage using slow motion cameras to create commercials, a corporate video, as well as some YouTube exclusive content. We also created Armscor and Rock Island Armory buyers guides, complete with high quality photos and detailed specs of each product.
We combed through online forums, social media sites, and blogs of shooting industry enthusiasts to garner a wider understanding of how this demographic behaves on the web and how Armscor could become a prominent player online. Through this research we gave them a carefully crafted social media content strategy that helped launch this company into the online stratosphere.
Epic helped with the media placement of all these new materials to let the right people know this brand is ready to make its mark. We even ran an online media placement campaign using contextual and audience targeting to draw in larege amounts of traffic to Armscor’s new website. Finally, we helped Armscor stand out through providing unique and powerful materials to feature at the many tradeshows and conventions that this company attends.
The Results - Armscor Precision International is on the verge of launching the majority of it’s new brand. And we’re very excited. Through our efforts, we’ve helped build a strong foundation for this company to successfully expand into the US and other international markets, and we’re just getting started.
